Structure and working principle of rail pressure sensor
The rail pressure sensor is composed of silicon diaphragm, electric bridge, and amplifier circuit. When the pressure in the common rail causes the shape of the silicon diaphragm to change, the resistance value of the resistive layer connected to the diaphragm will also change The changed resistance value will cause the voltage at the output terminal of the 5V bridge to change. The signal is processed by the amplifier circuit. The output voltage of the terminal changes between 0-5V, and the ECU calculates the current common rail pressure based on this voltage.
